Panic is defined as:

"A random response to a problem for which you have no immediate solution".

Often times the difference between permanent disability and full recovery, life and death, is determined by the actions taken by bystanders who are on scene long before the professional responders arrive.

Frequently we arrive on the scene of a traumatic or medical emergency to find that the incorrect actions taken, or correct actions not taken were due to the lack of knowledge in how to manage a particular crisis.

In the hopes of mitigating or minimizing the effects of traumatic events and medical emergencies and to prevent panic we have put together a curricula that teaches basic concepts and key steps in the management of medical and traumatic emergencies.

We are an official training center affiliated with the National Safety Council.

Through that affiliation we have the ability to offer credentialing for laypersons and professional staff meeting national standards in both emergency first-aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation.

If you would like additional information about the classes offered please contact our EMS Officer, Scott Parsley via e-mail at c583@kellerfd.com or by calling (817) 743-4460.
